Multi-Server Workflow

Switch servers and see which settings and views TriggerDeck remembers for each one.

Switch server context from More

Open More to switch between configured servers. The current server is marked in the list, alongside each server’s detected Zabbix version and support status. You can also:

  • switch server
  • edit current server
  • add another server
  • open Settings

In the app

More sheet server switcher

In More, check the selected-server marker and version badge before switching. Edit Current Server, Add Server, and Settings are available below the server list.

Mix supported Zabbix versions intentionally

TriggerDeck supports Zabbix 6.0 LTS, 7.0 LTS, and 7.4. Zabbix 8.0 is available as experimental support while upstream 8.0 builds continue toward LTS. Additional compatible versions are 6.2, 6.4, and 7.2; support for these versions is restricted and untested.

Before comparing problem counts or dashboards across servers, check the selected server and its version in More. Version support may affect which dashboard widgets are available. Then open Problems, Hosts, Items, or Dashboards in the intended server context.

Patch versions follow the status of their minor line, and unlisted minor or major versions should be treated as unsupported.

What is remembered per server

TriggerDeck can remember these choices separately for each server:

  • selected server
  • Problems filters, sorting, and grouping
  • Hosts grouping and organization
  • selected Items host and filters
  • selected dashboard and dashboard reader position

After switching servers, you may see different filters, grouping, or a different selected dashboard. Those are the choices saved for the server you just opened.

Per-server working state example

After switching servers, filters, grouping, or the selected dashboard may change to the choices last used for that server. Check the active server before interpreting the view.

Before you read another server

  • Always confirm which server is selected before interpreting counts or details.
  • Push identifiers are also server-specific.
  • The selected server is marked in More; use its display name to confirm where you are working.
